HL Display AB shall actively strive to create a better work environment by minimising risks, injuries and near accidents.
We shall create a better work environment by:
- selecting manufacturing processes, ways of working and methods that have the least possible impact on the health of staff.
- endeavouring to achieve long-term work environment improvements through development and technical innovation.
- continuously and systematically following up the situation in our work environment.
- setting goals and drawing up action plans for constant improvement and development of the work environment in the business activity.
- immediately rectifying errors and shortcomings as soon as they are identified.
- complying with legislation, but not always being content with only fulfilling the minimum requirements set by authorities.
- maintaining good communication regarding work environment issues to ensure that everyone feels involvement in and responsibility for their own and their colleagues' work environment.
- motivating colleagues to do their tasks safely and responsibly.
- working to achieve a drug-free workplace and never accepting substance abuse.
- never accepting discrimination.
- when purchasing products and services, prioritising those with a minimum impact on the health of staff if there are several equivalent products and services to choose from.
Alcohol and drugs
We are to have an alcohol-free and drug-free work environment at HL Display AB.
Substance abuse is not compatible with our business operations and our responsibility to provide a sound and safe work environment for the physical and mental wellbeing of our employees. Substance abuse is therefore not acceptable.
We maintain a drug-free work environment by:
- helping to provide information and training where necessary to make all employees aware that alcohol abuse leads to adverse effects on themselves as individuals or the people around them.
- promoting sensible attitudes to drinking alcohol, i.e. moderate drinking that does not have an adverse impact on the individuals themselves or other people.
- preventing all non-medical use of drugs among our employees and thereby contributing to the creation of a drug-free society.
- if abuse of alcohol or drugs does occur despite this, we are to strive to give the substance abuser the opportunity of rehabilitation and returning to work.
